“ A great market with great Mediterranean food options. You'll find more options for olives than you ever knew existed! The service is great as well. ”
“ Once again it's time to load up on southern and eastern European goodies. This is more the first time I've been here while their newish restaurant was in operation. Queen Bee even asked if we wanted a quick lunch; no. Maybe another time for that.... Only greeting we got was from the store cashier, a Hispanic girl who's been there for a good while. The lady who owns the place was running around stocking shelves, and her husband was behind the meat/deli counter talking to his pals in Turkish. Oh, well... I picked up a few bags of pelmeni to honor my Russian/cossack side. I usually get Greek olive oil, sardines and pasta to honor my Greek side too! We did get the sardines this trip...I already have everything else I need. Meantime I almost bought some Croatian bread (they have both fresh and frozen!) but DID but some smoked Lithuanian sausages good for a couple of lunch sandwiches for the week. What this place lacks in ownership engagement is well made up for by the panoply of ethnic foods...it's the UN of foodstuffs. My/our goal is to return here more often and eventually try their restaurant next door. So if you're a foodie with eastern or southern European (and Arabic for good measure) tastes, then head here and fill up the old larder. Everything from soup to nuts is on their shelves or in their coolers! ”
“ The market, now restaurant came a long way from when they first opened. I do get a lot of European groceries, the only thing I am missing is an olive bar. Never disappointed with the food. No matter what you get. The staff is super friendly, and everyone makes you feel welcome. ”
“ Excellent Mediterranean market with a great range and selection of Mediterranean foods, spices, and specialties with freshly made desserts and a great Kebab restaurant inside the market with perfectly cooked Turkish/Mediterranean dishes. A foodie paradise and authentic taste of the Mediterranean. Worth a long visit to stroll through to take it all in and grab some specialties for home and for entertaining. ”
“ I've been getting lots of recent for Sara's Mediterranean Food Market. It was amazingly delicious! We ate first, then shopped the store which is filled with unique food items. A bit on the pricy side. ”
“ Sara's has added a restaurant- so exciting. Their frozen foods choices have expanded. I love that they have real string cheese. Perogies in many flavors and dumplings with a wide variety of meat fillings. On a recent trip I found the sauerkraut of my dreams- sour and in a big jar with a few carrots. Just right for my pastrami reubens. They have added new flours and grains. Last trip I got 2 flavors of halavah-chocolate and pistachio-- just like when I was a kid. The prices are better than other places I have shopped. ”
“ Bustling for lunch! Tasty Mediterranean food for lunch. Everything we ordered was delicious! Good portions and quick service. We ordered Mixed Grill and Tabbouleh salad. Bonus for this trip is their food market in the same place. Trying out their EVOO and falafels. ”
“ Nice clean speciality supermarket. You will find all kinds of Mediteranean goodies here. Many of the groceries you can't find just anywhere, but some you may be surprised to find here. It's pretty cool to look through and see the nice selection they have. They also have a restaurant inside - Sara's Kebab's, which drew me to come here, and I was not disappointed. I'm reviewing the restaurant under Sara's Kebab House, so make sure to check it out there! ”
“ Dave recommended this Largo spot, so I had to check it out! The sheer size of this market and the Turkish specialities also lured me in. The location looks like a block size market, but about 30% of the space is an amazingly delicious casual Turkish cafe with waiter service. The space ia bright, clean, and the food comes out fast. Pro tip: You get 1 FREE Turkish hot tea per customer in a beautiful cup. We tried the 3 dip platter, mini breads, and mixed grill. All were so darn tasty that I definitely don't have to drive to Tampa for Turkish food anymore. Can't wait to return and try everything else. The market here has some really alluring products and snacks that you cannot find at other local Mediterranean markets. The drink and soda section alone is eventful. I uploaded photos of the entire menu. See you there! ”
